Wreaths Across America

Dedham Veterans Agent Bill Aitken hosted Wreaths Across America on Saturday December 15 at Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham. Wreaths Across America is a nationwide event honoring Veterans and held each December. Wreaths Across America is a nonprofit organization which coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies in all 50 states to remember those Veterans who will never celebrate another Christmas.

Doyle and Coppinger Bridge Dedication

It was an honor to hold a bridge dedication ceremony for the Doyle and Coppinger families in West Roxbury. The govenor signed The Park Street Bridge is now known as the Honorable Francis X Coppinger Bridge after longtime public servant Rep. Frank Coppinger. The late former Representative Charles Doyle and former Representative Francis Coppinger were honored for their service to the people of the Commonwealth.

Veterans Day

Senator Rush participated in Veterans Day Ceremonies throughout the Norfolk and Suffolk District. He attended services in West Roxbury at the Altenheim German Centre, Needham Memorial Field and the Needham Vietnam Memorial, Norwood Town Common and the Dedham American Legion. All were outstanding and well attedened events which honored and thanked all of our Veterans. As a Veteran himself, Elected Official, Chairman of the Committee on Veteran Affairs but most important as an American Citizen, this made Senator Rush proud!

Road Races

Roslindale Day Parade

The Roslindale Day Parade is a day where the neighborhood of Roslindale comes together to enjoy entertainment for all ages. Senator Rush enjoyed partaking in the parade this year with his wife and daughter.
